By installing or using this app you agree to these terms.
The app reduces the file size of videos and photos stored on your device. Compression re-encodes the file, which means some quality is lost. That is inherent to compression, not a defect. Higher quality levels lose less.
The app shows an approximate output size before compression starts. The real result depends on the content of the file and on your device's encoders. A file that is already efficiently compressed may shrink very little, or occasionally come out slightly larger. The app reports that honestly rather than claiming a saving that did not happen.
Compressed files are saved as new files. Your originals are not modified or removed unless you explicitly choose to delete them, and Android shows its own confirmation before any deletion.
You are responsible for keeping backups of anything important. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of or damage to your files, however caused, including from a failed compression, a cancelled job, insufficient storage, or a device or operating system fault.
Use the app only with files you own or have the right to process. Do not use it to infringe anyone's copyright or other rights, or for any unlawful purpose.
The free version is supported by advertising. Compressor Pro is a one-time purchase that removes ads and raises the number of files you can compress at once. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
Purchases are processed by the store you installed from. Refunds are governed by that store's policy — Google Play or Samsung Galaxy Store — not by us.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Features may change, and specific formats or speeds depend on the hardware encoders in your device.
These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one on this page.
